By midday, on the election day of November 5, 2023, dozens of citizens visited the RU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Etropole, claiming that they had lost their identity cards and were issued official notices.
According to unofficial information, some of the citizens had their identity cards withheld by local loan sharks. In the week before the runoff, an unusual gathering of people was noticed around a quick loan office in the same area. Groups of citizens roam both sides of the District trying to get in without being seen.
On November 5, 2023, before noon, a camera operator who happened to be around the building of the RU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was interrogated and threatened not to take pictures by a local businessman, from a circle with an eloquent name.
According to insiders, the scheme with official memos is innovative. They are needed for the purchased vote to vote with them, and then those who voted will receive their personal cards from the loan sharks with the promised bonus. Subsequently, the “lost cards” will be found by their owners. The scheme serves the bought vote.
A complaint has been filed with the OIC-Etropole and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
