We are extremely pleased with the results so far – we are a second political power. That’s it for us outstanding success. We and DPS are raising our votes for the party and the number of mayors. This was said by BSP leader Cornelia Ninova. “We have 71 mayors compared to 57 in the previous local elections. We are the second political force in terms of number of mayors. We win 4 regional cities – Shumen, Razgrad, Ruse and Silistra,” added the BSP leader.

“Thanks to all who supported us. Grigorova ran a good campaign with meeting the people, well done to her. I’m not worried about her political ambitions,” she commented.

In her words got up clearly that the big loser in these elections is GERB. “That pattern is starting to break down,” she said.

“BSP is consolidated, the results show a lot of work. Our candidates worked in a very difficult environment – pressure, bought votes. We showed that we have strong candidates and professionals. Low voter turnout is issue to everyone, we have to restore people’s trust,” Ninova said.
