The extremely low voter turnout is impressive. In Plovdiv at 7:00 p.m. it is 23-24%, which cannot even be commented on. This was stated by the former Minister of Agriculture Miroslav Naydenov to PIK TV.
“The elections were decided by Borisov. He gave the support requested by Kiril Petkov. And these are the few percent difference between Terzieva and Grigorov,” he commented.
“Borisov gentlemanly fulfilled his promise to the candidate of the government, as he expressed himself,” Naydenov also said, adding that this was not an expressive victory for Terziev.
“Both in the capital and in our maritime capital, after this heavy legacy, there was no way the GERB candidates could win,” Naydenov explained.
According to him, the victory of the PPDB in Sofia and possibly in Varna is a triumph against the background of the unprecedentedly low voter turnout.
“If things escalate, it may lead to a breakdown of the assembly. Whether there will be early elections – rather not against the background of the geopolitical situation around us. It may even get away with a major overhaul of the government,” predicted the former agricultural minister minister and recalled the paradox of some of the ministers being threatened by their mandate holders.
