I thank all residents of Razgrad municipality who came out and voted. I thank those who believed in me and made the right choice, Dobrin Dobrev, who is the winner of the runoff for the post of mayor of Razgrad according to the final results of 100 percent processed protocols of the SIC, told media representatives. Dobrev was nominated by the Initiative Committee and supported by the Local Coalition “BSP for Bulgaria” (BSP – VMRO) and other parties and organizations.
He also thanked his entire team, all the citizens, organizations, political parties and people who stood behind him in this, in his words, serious and very difficult election race.
When asked how he will work with the new Municipal Council, in which there are representatives of seven political forces, Dobrin Dobrev stated that it will be the same as in the previous mandate. “We will seek support for all important decisions for Razgrad. I am convinced that the positive campaign that we led gives us a request that we will also be able to have positive conversations in the Municipal Council”, pointed out Dobrev. He added that they will seek the support of all representatives of political formations that entered the Municipal Council that entered the Municipal Council. “I think we will have the necessary majority to be able to make important decisions and for Razgrad to move forward,” added Dobrin Dobrev.
