Football Academy “Arda 1924” is the vice-champion of the Cup Varna 1923 tournament

The children born in 2016 at the Arda 1924 Football Academy returned from the strong Varna Cup 2023 tournament with silver medals, and the young talents of Ashkan Yusref narrowly missed the gold. The kids from the city of Kardzhali did not lose even once, playing five great matches against serious opponents such as: PFC Cherno More – Varna, PFC Dobrudja – Dobrich, FC Grand Pro – Varna, DFK Vidin – Vidin and FC Grand Pro 2 – Varna. Ours did not reach only one point for the first place, but the performance was definitely more than satisfactory and can only make us and our great children proud! Among those born in 2013, ours almost fell short of climbing the ladder of honor. In this age group, the golden boys were up against the competition of ten serious teams and only one idea of ​​a poor goal difference prevented us from playing for third place in the tournament against Danube Ruse, who we beat in the group stage in a breathtaking match. Boys of Ashken Yusref born in 2013 also left good impressions despite the short bench with which they participated. The children achieved victories against: PFC Dunav – Ruse, FC Vazrazhdane – Varna and FC Levski – Ruse and recorded two losses against PFC Dobrudja – Dobrich and against the undisputed champion of the tournament – FC Prikazkite – Dobrich. All the children from our school performed at their usual strong level, and a large number of them were also congratulated with player of the match awards. Stefan Jordanove from the 2016 team was chosen as the player of the tournament for his overall performance in the competition. The management of the Arda 1924 Football Academy congratulates all the boys and their coach Ashkan Yousref for the good performance and wishes them many more occasions for joy and smiles together! In two weeks, the 2014 team of Yanko Yanev and the 2015 team of Blagovest Sarev and Sarandis Glabadanidis are leaving for the second edition of the Varna Cup tournament, where the second teams of various schools from the country will take part, who will take part in the 2014 recruitment tournament.
