There are 944 registered long-term unemployed persons with a stay at the labor office for more than 1 year in Kardzhali Region and they make up 19.6% of all registered unemployed. Compared to the previous month, their number increased by 19 /925/.
The low level of education and qualification predetermine the length of stay of persons with primary and lower education in the labor market.
The segmentation of the supply of labor on the regional labor market according to education is distinguished by the persistently dominant share of unemployed persons with primary and lower education – 2,543 people or 52.8%. Compared to the previous month, their number decreased by 14 persons /2,557/.
Graduates make up 8% and are 384. Compared to the previous month, their number decreased by 18 /402/.
The unemployed with secondary education, including with secondary professional education make up 39.2% of the entire considered population and are 1,889 people. They increase by 20 compared to the previous month /1,869/.
By profession, the registered unemployed are:
– with worker occupations – 22.8% /1,099/;
– specialists – 13% /626/;
– without specialty and profession – 64.2% /3,091/.
Those registered outside the group of unemployed persons – employed, students and pensioners are 73. Those who started work from these groups during the month are 69.
