“I woke up with a clear sense of responsibility, that we have a lot of work to do for Blagoevgrad and the great trust that has been placed in us, we must justify it. The elections are over, from now on a very serious attitude to the problems of Blagoevgrad, there is no time to think about victories and celebrations. People asked for a change in the management model of Blagoevgrad, we are satisfied with the result, of course,” said Metodi Baikushev.
Until the delivery of the last protocol, Metodi Baikushev remained in the OIC to follow the process.
“I wanted to preserve the process of handing over the protocols, we worked professionally to reflect the citizens’ vote fairly,” said the newly elected mayor of Blagoevgrad.
“An analysis of the financial situation of Blagoevgrad will be made so that the budget for next year can also be adopted. We are starting to work seriously on the strategic projects that we have set in the program. I will work as a priority for the economic development of the city and for the opening of new well-paid jobs”, Baykushev added.
