Who will become mayor?

In the six districts of Plovdiv, GERB’s candidates won four mayoral seats, and “We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria” – two. This is shown by the final results of the run-offs announced by the Central Election Commission.
Mayor of district “Central” will be Georgi Stamenov from GERB with 8353 votes (49.25%). Chilo Popov from “We continue the change” – “Democratic Bulgaria” came second in the runoff, who received 7676 votes (45.26%).
On district “South” the new mayor is Atanas Kunchev, GERB, with 6553 votes (47.38%), ahead of Krasimir Alexandrov, “We continue the change” – “Democratic Bulgaria”, with 6271 votes (45.34%).
IN district “NorthThe mayor will be Ventsislava Ljubenova, “We continue the change” – “Democratic Bulgaria”, which received 4334 votes (48.28%). GERB’s candidate Ivan Lalev has 3914 votes (43.61%).
“West” area will be with Mayor Toni Stoycheva, “We continue the change” – “Democratic Bulgaria”, with 3564 votes (48.31%). GERB candidate Angel Slavov remained with 3420 votes (46.36%).
Thrace region will be led by Georgi Gatev, GERB, who collected 6467 votes (60.35%), and his opponent Nikolay Gyurov from “We continue the change” – “Democratic Bulgaria” has 3433 votes (32.04%).
In the “East” area Emil Rusinov, GERB, won with 4,885 votes (74.24%) ahead of Erol Ayanov Sadakov from “Bulgarian Progressive Line”. He received 1104 votes (16.78%).
