The large-scale exhibition is part of the cultural calendar and is being held with the exclusive support of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo. It annually presents and unites in one space the works of authors from different generations.

This year there are 89 participants, some of them presenting several works. In addition to traditional techniques – painting, graphics, sculpture, glass, etc., the exhibition also includes installation works.

The autumn salon is an opportunity for the debut of young and creative artists, whom the SBH Representation in Veliko Tarnovo attracts and stimulates to participate in the cultural life of Veliko Tarnovo.

This exhibition has its own face because it unites the worldviews of different generations of artists and different techniques, said Nelina Tsrova, director of the “Culture, Tourism and International Activities” Directorate in the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo, in her welcome. She opened the exhibition together with the chairman of the SBH – Veliko Tarnovo, Martin Mitev and Nikolina Janovska, a member of the Board of the representation.

The works of the authors were evaluated by a jury led by Dr. Martin Mitev – chairman of the SBH Representation – Veliko Tarnovo. The members of the commission are Dr. Nikolina Dzhanovska, Dr. Anastasia Tonkova and Dr. Mario Konov – members of the Board of the SBH Representation – Veliko Tarnovo.

The award for graphics from the Representation of SBH – V. Tarnovo went to Petar Lazarov for the work Rough cut I. The award for painting went to Boris Zhelev for the work “Word without image”. Rumen Dimitrov – Popa received the award for sculpture for the work “Genesis”.

Prizes for young author were received by: Veselin Simeonov (“Blue, pink and something in between”), Simeon Zhelev (SINOM I (The world needs the young)), Darena Zaharieva (“Negative memories II”) and Antoineta Toneva – (“Adonis and Venus II” after Shakespeare).

The prizes of all the listed artists were in the amount of 200 BGN.

An incentive award for a young author worth BGN 100 and an anniversary album “70 years of Veliko Tarnovo artists” was awarded to Nikol Hristova for the work “Viral”.

Participants from outside the Veliko Tarnovo region were also awarded for creative achievements. Volodya Kazakov from Botevgrad was awarded an honorary diploma and anniversary album “70 years of Veliko Tarnovo artists” for the work “Landscape II” and to Ali Rushdie in Cairo, Egypt, for Abov.
