The regional governor of Targovishte has scheduled the first meetings of the newly elected municipal councils for this week

The regional governor of Targovishte, Gergana Tsoneva, has scheduled for this week the first meetings of the newly elected municipal councils in the five municipalities on the territory of Targovishte region.
At the first meeting, the newly elected municipal councilors, mayors of municipalities and mayors of town halls are sworn in and the chairman of the newly elected municipal councils is elected.
Today is the meeting of the new Municipal Council in Antonovo. The municipal council in Antonovo Municipality has 13 members. After the vote on October 29, the newly elected councilors are representatives of four parties and coalitions. The mayor of the municipality Hayredin Mehmedov was elected in the first round with 57.12 percent of the votes of the voters from Antonovsko who exercised their right to vote.
Tomorrow at 11:00 am will be the first in the municipality of Opaka. And for November 8 (Wednesday), the meetings will be in Targovishte – from 9:00 a.m., in Popovo from 11:00 a.m. and in Omurtag from 2:00 p.m., the Regional Administration specified for BTA.
The first meetings were convened by order of the regional governor, according to the provisions of the Law on Local Self-Government and Local Administration.
