The Stara Zagora track is waiting for the elite of car racers in our country for the traditional race, which is the fourth round of the National Championship on a closed route. The start will be given on November 19, Sunday, at 10.00 a.m. at the eastern junction of the city. On Saturday, training will start at 12:00 p.m. and will continue until 5:00 p.m. At that time, the administrative examinations by series – “Lada”, “Sport”, “Touring” and “Maxi” are planned.
The iconic championship for car fans will again this year bring together drivers and crews from all over the country, as well as loyal fans of masterful driving. “From today – November 6, the registration of the participants is open, its end is November 13 – specifies Iliya Boyadzhiev, chairman of ASK – Stara Zagora, organizer of the competition. – The route is well known – 2.4 km, and the groups are “Sport”, “Touring”, “Maxi” and “Lada”. The minimum number of laps for ranking is nine,” adds Boyadzhiev.
The Mayor’s Cup will be specially awarded, which will delight the Starzagorsk athlete who performed the best. By tradition, a “Fair Play pilot” will also be awarded – the prize is in memory of Stanimira Petrova-Ganeva, daughter of the 10-time champion of Bulgaria, Georgi Petrov.
The competition is realized with the support of the Municipality of Stara Zagora and the Automobile Federation of Bulgaria. The participants will once again support the initiative aimed at increasing traffic safety – “I am the future.” Protect me!”.
