The President will open a round table dedicated to the possibilities of modernization of the Bulgarian Army through the application of accessible innovative technologies
On November 6, Monday, the head of state and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Rumen Radev will open a round table on the topic “Application of accessible technologies and products with a large asymmetric effect in modern conflicts”. The event is organized by the presidential institution.
The forum will bring together representatives of the Ministry of Defense, educational institutions that train personnel in the field of national security, as well as Bulgarian companies from the field of defense industry.
During the round table, the possibilities for the modernization of the Bulgarian Army will be discussed through the implementation of innovative low-budget projects, using minimal resources, but with a significant impact on increasing defense capabilities. The possibilities of Bulgarian science and defense industry to respond to modern trends and to provide key capabilities for the Bulgarian Army, adequate to the dynamically changing security environment, will be presented.
The round table will start at 10:00 a.m. in House 2, “Triaditsa” hall of the “Boyana” residence.
