Police officers of the ODMVR-Blagoevgrad conducted a specialized police operation to combat the production, storage and distribution of narcotic substances.
On 03.11.2023 in the residential “Elenovo” in the city of Blagoevgrad was checked at a residence inhabited by two men aged 39 and 41, where the law enforcement authorities found about 7.20 grams of grassy mass, which, after a field test, reacted positively to cannabis. The persons were detained with a detention order for up to 24 hours, and pre-trial proceedings were initiated in the case.
On the same date in gh.k. “East” in the town of Petrich, a 42-year-old man from the town was checked by police officers of the RU-Petrich. Approximately 1.77 grams of a white powdery substance that tested positive for amphetamine and approximately 2.88 grams of cannabis were found. In the course of the work on the case, the residence inhabited by the person was also checked, where about 17 grams of grassy mass, reacting positively to cannabis, was found. The man was detained on a 24-hour detention order. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
At noon on 05.11.2023 in the area of P.R. Slaveykov” in the city of Blagoevgrad, forensic experts at 01 RU-Blagoevgrad checked a 33-year-old woman from Blagoevgrad, who found two polyethylene bags containing a total of about 1.35 grams of cannabis. She was detained with a detention order for up to 24 hours and the RP-Blagoevgrad was notified.
Yesterday, in an apartment in the residential area “Elenovo” in the city of Blagoevgrad, the police officers found a polyethylene bag with a brown grassy mass inside it. After a field test, she tested positive for cannabis weighing about 2.3 grams. The 34-year-old resident of the home was detained on a 24-hour warrant and a pre-trial proceeding has been initiated.
Yesterday, during an inspection in the “Matsanskiandak” area next to the road to the village of Delvino, forensic experts at 02 RU-Blagoevgrad found a hidden plastic bag containing about 80 grams of a dry herbaceous mass, which reacted positively to cannabis. A minor youth from the town of Blagoevgrad was detained. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
