Kyustendil allowed a surprising 1:2 reversal at home against CSKA-Sofia Mladoks, and with that Martin Yordanov’s men saw the end of the series of four consecutive games without defeat, which they had not tasted since September 30. Usual suspect Mario Evtimov opened the scoring for the blues in the 11th minute after a mistake by the red defense. After less than ten minutes, however, Georgi Chorbadzhiyski, the younger son of former “Pirin” handball player /Bl/ Sonya Peudova, restored the tie. Reserve Alexander Kozhuharov scored the three points for the “Army” in the 77th minute, and Kyustendils got lucky in a few more situations until the end, while in front of the opposite goal the dangers were easily eliminated by the defense and guard Ivaylo Nedelchev.
CSKA’s double, led by Stamen Belchev, cemented success in the second position in the standings ahead of the match with “Bansko” this Saturday at the club’s base in Pancharevo. M. Yordanov and his wards visit “Vitosha”, which went to the rescue shore with a zero draw against “Septemvri” in Simitli.
