Elections of the mayor of the town hall in the municipality of Stara Zagora were held in 35 villages with a population of over 100 people. In 32 of them, GERB nominated its own candidates, and candidates in two settlements were supported by the party. In the first round, GERB has mayors in 24 villages, and in Elenino the independent candidate Sabi Ivanov is supported. In the second round of the local elections on November 5, GERB won in the villages: Oryahovitsa, Petrovo, Mogila and Zmeyovo.
Deputy mayors will be appointed in 16 villages, as they have less than 100 inhabitants.
