Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Gabriel are on a symbolic visit to Israel as a sign of solidarity with the country after the brutal attack by “Hamas” on October 7.

“The State of Israel and the Israeli people have our full support, we are with you,” Denkov said during his meetings with Prime Minister of the State of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog.

“We know how difficult times are today and that is why we are here. We were all shocked by the terrorist attacks that killed so many innocent people in Israel.” Netanyahu said, as quoted by the government information service.

Academician Denkov has assured the President of the State of Israel, Isaac Herzog, that our country would provide humanitarian support with everything necessary, including the dispatch of medical specialists.

“You can count on us”said Academician Denkov.

He also noted how important it is that all the hostages be released as soon as possible, and before that the International Committee of the Red Cross get immediate access to them.

Benjamin Netanyahu thanked for the Bulgarian support.

“Your support is very important, we appreciate the support of the entire Bulgarian people”, Netanyahu pointed out.
