A new project entitled “Colors of Burgas” presents iconic places and views of Burgas, recreated by students from grades 8 to 12 in classes studying painting at the National School of Music and Dance Art (NUMSI) “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”, a reporter saw of BTA. For the first time, the drawings can be seen on the fence of the “Ivan Vazov” Secondary School, located in a central location in the seaside town. Among them are numerous seascapes, views from the Sea Garden, glaruses, as well as images of the island of St. Anastasia, Central Station, Sea Station and St. St. Cyril and Methodius Church. Each of the boards is accompanied by a title, the name of the author, as well as a QR code that links to the page of the place with which the image is connected, Vanya Zabunova, teacher of “Advertising graphics” at the music school, explained to BTA. The paintings will remain on the fence of the “Ivan Vazov” school for some time, after which the authors of the project plan to tour other places around the city. Finally, they will be placed on the fence of NUMSI “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”, added Dobrin Vatev, teacher at the school and chairman of the Society of Burgas Artists, for BTA. The project is a pilot project and is implemented jointly with the Municipality of Burgas, the two teachers added.
