Over 200 drawings and literary works were received at the Center for the support of personal development on the occasion of the new competition – “Patriotism and charity. The benefactor of Burgas Alexander Georgiev Kodjakafalia”. Its organizers are the Municipality of Burgas, CPLR- Burgas and Sunday school at the church “St. Pimen Zografski” – “Kraimorie” quarter.

The awards were presented by Bishop Hierotei – abbot of Pomorie monastery “St. George the Victorious”, Father Boris Berov – head of the church “Holy Virgin Mary” in Burgas, father Stiliyan Kunev – head of the church “St. Pimen Zografski” in Kraimorie and Diana Savateva – deputy. – Mayor of Culture, Tourism and Sports in Burgas Municipality.

The chairman of the jury in the “poetry” and “prose” section was Atanasia Petrova, members: Pepa Angelova and Stanislav Marashki, and in the “drawing” section – chairman Denislav Belchev and members: Atanasia Petrova and Pepa Angelova.

Students from the vocal group at the “Alexander Georgiev-Kodjakafaliyata” elementary school performed a hymn for the great benefactor, and the reciters of the best poems, nominated for first place, were Vanessa Petkova and Karolina Ivanova from the Children’s Kingdom Theater School.

The organizers of the competition thank everyone who took the trouble to draw a portrait of Kojakafaliya, write essays, stories and wonderful poems about him.
