With 100% processed protocols, Vasil Terziev’s lead is preserved by about a point, a point and a half ahead of Vanya Grigorova, Yanitsa Petkova told Radio Sofia from the sociological agency “Gallup International Balkan” – partner of the BNR for the local vote. She added that many young people voted for Vasil Terziev.

“Of all those who voted for him, about 15% are of youth age, while for Ms. Grigorova, about 9% of those who voted for her are of youth age. In the highest age group – over 60, Vanya Grigorova’s voters are about 27 percent of all who voted for her, while for Mr. Terziev they are about 15.2%,” Yanitsa Petkova explained.

She added that voter turnout in Sofia was 35.2%, according to data from Exit poll of the sociological agency.

“Quite a serious vote of graduates in Sofia. 78% of all voters said they had a university or semi-university education. The overflow of votes from candidates in the first round to candidates in the second is also impressive. As for Vanya Grigorova, it is striking that 50% of those who said they voted for Anton Hekimyan in the first round voted for her,” said Yanitsa Petkova.

Details of yesterday’s runoff vote can be heard in the sound file.
