The coach of Botev (Vratsa) Hristo Yanev announced after another defeat in the elite, this time with 0:2 against Lokomotiv (Sofia), that he will request a conversation with the management to discuss in detail how Vratsa can save themselves from relegation.
“We are playing poorly, I have nothing to hide it. We don’t do what I want and what we should. People love their team, and we, with me at the head, do not do it in such a way that we make them happy and the team wins. I am sure that football in Bulgaria can do without Hristo Yanev. We need to sit down and talk about where the mistakes are if we want Botev to keep his place in the elite.
We can’t talk about improvement, who you let in five goals, when our opponent scores two goals with three situations. There is something that is hindering the whole process. There is a solution. When we think soberly, we will understand the reasons. The way we lose kills all passion, motivation and desire. If we want a team to win, there has to be passion throughout the club.
