Our fellow citizen, the artist Volodya Kazakov, was awarded an honorary diploma and an anniversary album “70 years of Veliko Tarnovo artists. The award is for his work “Landscape II”, which participated in the traditional exhibition “Autumn Salon of Veliko Tarnovo Artists”, arranged in the exhibition halls “Rafael Mihailov” – Veliko Tarnovo.

The large-scale exhibition is part of the cultural calendar of the Old Capital City and is carried out with the assistance of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo. Volodya Kazakav is one of the two artists, outside the Veliko Tarnovo region, awarded with an award for creative achievements. The other is a foreigner – Ali Rushdie from Egypt, who is also among the participants in this year’s edition of the exhibition.

“Autumn salons of Veliko Tarnovo artists” annually presents and unites works from different generations in one space. This year there are 89 participants, some of them presenting several works. In addition to traditional techniques – painting, graphics, sculpture, glass, etc., the exhibition also includes installation works.

The autumn salon is also an opportunity for the debut of young and creative artists, whom the SBH Representation in Veliko Tarnovo attracts and stimulates to participate in the cultural life of the city.
