The deepening of the bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and the Republic of Korea in the economy and investments was discussed today at a meeting in the presidential institution by the head of state Rumen Radev and the deputy speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Chung U-taek, who is visiting Bulgaria. This was announced by the press center of the Presidency.
The head of state emphasized that for Bulgaria the Republic of Korea is an important partner in East Asia and the active political dialogue and the potential in bilateral economic, cultural and political relations are a solid basis for raising the cooperation between the two countries to the level of a strategic partnership. Rumen Radev confirmed his invitation to the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk-yeol to visit our country for further development of the bilateral dialogue at the highest political level.
During the meeting, information and communication technologies, electronics and electric mobility, the automotive sector, the defense industry, industrial cooperation, as well as the strengthening of partnership in the field of education and science were highlighted as particularly promising areas of bilateral cooperation.
