The Judicial College of the Supreme Judicial Council awarded Judge Emil Mitev with a “personal badge of honor, first degree – golden”. The President of the Supreme Court of Cassation, Galina Zakharova, who also chairs the Judicial College of the SJC, sent a congratulatory address to the judge, in which she thanked him for his professional behavior, competence and dedication in his work, which ranks him among the magistrates who built the modern image of Bulgarian justice.

The President of the Court of Appeal – Plovdiv, Magdalina Ivanova, presented Judge Emil Mitev with a diploma and a plaque of the Court of Appeal – Plovdiv for his high professionalism and excellent work

The reason for the awards is that today Emil Mitev resigned from the position of “judge” in the Court of Appeal – Plovdiv, due to reaching the age of 65.

Judge Emil Mitev started working at the Court of Appeal – Plovdiv on 23.01.2004. Before that, he was a judge in the district courts in Asenovgrad and Plovdiv, a judge in the District Court – Plovdiv, with over 32 years of experience in the judicial system. He also worked for 4 years and 7 months as a legal consultant.

During his work as a judge in the Appellate Court – Plovdiv, Emil Mitev mainly deals with commercial cases. He always handled all legal and practical problems flawlessly and showed initiative in solving them.

Judge Emil Mitev has the rank of “judge of the Supreme Court and Supreme Court” since 15.05.2014.
