Maria Todorova is the newly elected mayor of Chuprene municipality. Todorova, who until now was the deputy mayor of Chuprene, promised that from the first working day she would start with the implementation of her management program.

“The first thing I want to say is thank you for everyone’s support. I want to say that for me it makes no difference who cast what vote on election day and who they supported, and for me the people who live in a municipality are important Chuprene and from now on they will be my concern. I have a program and from the first day I will start to carry it out and I also have daily tasks, but they are no less important because they concern the immediate needs of everyone and the citizens of the municipality and for the settlements.”

As early as this month, the municipality of Chuprene will be presented at a forum in Varna, said Maria Todorova.

“We will have the opportunity to make contacts with European cities and towns for the development of startups and eco-investments. My main priorities will be focused on improving the settlements, developing the municipality of Chuprene as a tourist destination, education will also occupy a major part in my program, as well as culture.”

Maria Todorova from GERB won the runoff against the current mayor Angelo Dobrichov, nominated by the SDS (NDSV).
