Radev: For Bulgaria, the Republic of Korea is an important partner, there is a basis for cooperation

The deepening of the bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and the Republic of Korea in the economy and investments was discussed at a meeting in the presidential institution by the head of state Rumen Radev and the deputy speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Chung U-taek, who is visiting Bulgaria.

The head of state emphasized that for Bulgaria, the Republic of Korea is an important partner in East Asia and the active political dialogue and the potential in bilateral economic, cultural and political ties are a solid basis for the cooperation between the two countries to be raised to the level of a strategic partnership.

Radev confirmed his invitation to the President of the Republic of Korea, Yun Suk-yeol, to visit our country for further development of the bilateral dialogue at the highest political level.

During the meeting, information and communication technologies, electronics and electric mobility, the automotive sector, the defense industry, industrial cooperation, as well as the strengthening of partnership in the field of education and science were highlighted as particularly promising areas of bilateral cooperation.
