Through you, dear journalists, I want to address all Veliko Tarnovo residents with the words: Thank you!

Thank you to those of you who believed in reason, responsibility and experience and, despite the particularly harsh tone of the opponents, supported me.

I also thank those of you who showed me with your vote that you want a change in the management of the city. I believe that together we will find the necessary balance and continue to make Veliko Tarnovo and our beautiful settlements more and more attractive and successfully developing.

There are not a few problems at this moment, new challenges are also being posed, but I believe that together and with common efforts we will overcome them.

However, today we need to put an end to the malice, populism and division that my opponents have been sowing for the past two months. I hope they have understood that fierceness is not the right tone that the citizens of Veliko Tarnovo tolerate.

Veliko Tarnovo has always been a city where unity among people is leading!

I believe that we will prove it in the coming years.

From today, the most important thing is to have a country!

A country where the budget is passed on time!

A country where MPs put more reason than passion into their decisions.

A state that talks and works together with municipalities.
