Plamen Staykov and Rafi Kadir (Skoda Fabia R5) led the classification in this year’s third edition of the “Pamporov” sprint rally. The ASK “Flat-Out” duo won the first two special stages, despite betting on a safe choice of tires (interlude). Their lead over the second Anton Titov / Alexander Spirov (Skoda Fabia R5) is 45.4 seconds.

Unfortunately, Titov and Spirov had problems during the first passage through SE “Smolyanski Ezera”.

“We had a flat front left tire in the narrow part and decided not to stop, even driving on the rim until the finish,” explained Titov.

In third place in the general classification is the crew of Nikola Mishev / Petar Sivov (Peugeot 208 Rally4), who are also the fastest crew with front wheel drive. They also opted for intermediate tyres, which helped them build a lead of almost 20 seconds over Ekaterina Stratieva and Georgi Avramov (Opel Corsa Rally4) behind them.

The European rally champion revealed that they are starting in the “Pamporovo” sprint rally with new updates on their car, which is causing them difficulties at the moment.

HC3 class leaders Dobrin Borisov / Plamen Ivanov (Renault Clio Maxi) close the top five with almost a minute and a half behind the leaders in the general classification.

The crew Alexander Dimitrov / Yordan Yordanov (Ford Fiesta ST) unfortunately dropped out in the first special stage after suffering damage to their car.

Rally Sprint “Pamporovo” continues with a special stage “Pamporovo”, which will be run twice. Immediately afterwards, the crews will head to Smolyan for the brand new super special stage on the streets of the city.
