In Hristeni, preparations are being made for the 17th Paradise Apple Festival

For the seventeenth time, the paradise apple – one of the most recognizable symbols of the Stara Zagorje village of Hristcheni, will give cause for celebration. The all-village celebration will take place on November 18, and it starts at 11:00 a.m. in the center of the village. The musical program will include singing and dancing folklore ensembles from various clubs and community centers, as well as folk singers Irina Boycheva, Maria Taneva and Vesco Vasilev.

The colorful traditional event reveals the colors of the locals, who in a beautiful and inspiring way prove the motto of the holiday “To be healthy and happy – eat persimmons from Hrischeni”. An integral part of it is the exhibition-bazaar “Produced in Hristeni”, and the smallest lovers of the delicious autumn fruit will also this year show various souvenirs, paintings and decorations depicting it.

Organizers of the Persimmon Festival are the Hristcheni City Hall and the local “Stefan Genchev – 1901” PN, with the support of the Stara Zagora Municipality.
