After killing Angel in cold blood, Nikola now has a new accusation

18-year-old Nikola Raychev, who has been in custody since the end of September for the death of 21-year-old Angel Zdravkov from Pazardzhik, will be charged with intentional homicide. According to people in the know, the investigators have collected enough evidence to refine the accusation and make it the most serious – intentional murder. The relatives and friends of the young man insisted on this at the numerous protests they held in the city. Angel’s death lifted Pazardjik to his feet.

Hundreds of relatives, friends and even strangers are demanding justice. There will be a protest tonight as well. It is entitled “Justice for Angel and Mitko” and will be at the Orta Khan roundabout on the Pazardzhik-Plovdiv road. It will start at 4:00 p.m. and traffic will be stopped in both directions for 2 hours.

The tragedy happened on September 28 on “Panayot Volov” street in the “West” quarter of the city, when the 18-year-old former graduate of the Professional High School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Nikola Raychev met Angel Zdravkov and 23-year-old Darina Burzakova. The unsuspecting Angel was stabbed twice by Nikola with a knife and died of blood loss in the ambulance on the way to the local hospital, “24 Chasa” recalls.
