A1 launched its Christmas campaign with a cause, through which for the second year in a row it will support the “Firefly” project of the “For Good” foundation. This Christmas, A1 subscribers can become part of the good by donating an amount of their choice quickly and easily through the My A1 app and its web version. The campaign continues until December 31, when the collected donations from customers will be doubled by the telecommunications operator and the amount will be donated to the transformation of a children’s hospital ward in the country.

All current private subscribers with one or more services who want to contribute to better hospital care for children in our country will be able to add their donation through My A1. They only need to use the latest version of the application and have a registered profile, regardless of whether they are a holder or just a user of the respective service. The value of each donation can be between 1 and 100 BGN, and the amount will be charged in the next invoice without accompanying fees and VAT. There is no limit to the number of donations, as long as their total value does not exceed BGN 100 for one service in the reporting period. Donations over BGN 100, as well as donations from individuals not covered by the campaign, can be made directly to the For Good Foundation through their website.

“We accept the “Firefly” project of the “For Good” foundation as our cause, because it unites the two perhaps most important values for people – health and children. Last year we donated in favor of the pediatric department at MBAL – Karnobat, and we believe that it makes sense to continue supporting better quality children’s healthcare this year as well. We will again engage our subscribers and ask them to go together on the path of good that we will double. The more active our customers are in the campaign, the more significant and meaningful will be the change we will make together,” commented Iliana Zaharieva, Director of Corporate Communications at A1 Bulgaria.

Dimitrina Spirova, co-founder of the “For the Good” Foundation added: “We are extremely grateful to A1 for supporting the efforts of the “For the Good” Foundation to change the environment in children’s wards in Bulgaria for the second year in a row. It is important for us that the idea of ”Firefly” continues to spread, to reach the maximum number of people, because only together we will achieve the real change – not only on the material basis in the medical institutions, but also among ourselves – the people whose children rely on when they are in hospital.’

After the end of the campaign, A1 will announce the amount donated after doubling by the company and announce the selected ward that will undergo a complete renovation so that the physical environment becomes more modern and welcoming, and the treatment approaches are based on empathy and care and the child to be placed at the center of the healing process. You can find more about “Goodness connects us: donations for the children and A1 will double the amount” on the campaign page.

The My A1 mobile application and its web version on A1.bg allow its users not only to become part of the good, but also to manage their services independently from any point and at a time convenient for them. Through it, they can sign contracts online, track the status of technical requests and difficulties, quickly activate the most suitable roaming plan according to the country in which they will travel, make their own Wi-Fi network settings, more easily add additional packages and services in their plan, manage their credit limit and monitor how many megabytes and roaming minutes they have left.
