Nona Krastnikova and Maryan Jovanoski sing at the third event of the “Soloists of the State Opera – Burgas” series

The third concert of the “Soloists of the State Opera – Burgas” series is coming up on November 18 in the lobby of the opera house. The program will feature masterpieces from the operatic classics performed by soprano Nona Krastnikova, baritone Maryan Jovanoski, Igor Kiriyanov will play the piano, Maya Zhelyazkova – flute will also take part. This was reported by Temenuga Zaharieva from the press center of the cultural institution in the seaside town.
BTA reminds that the beginning of the new concert cycle in the repertoire of the Burgas Cultural Institute was set with the vocal concert on October 7 of this year.
The baritone Maryan Jovanoski – soloist of the National Opera and Ballet of the Republic of North Macedonia, who will perform at the concert on Saturday with the soprano Krastnikova, in the summer of this year in Burgas participated in the opera “Ball with Masks” by Giuseppe Verdi. The opera singer he also entered the iconic roles of Nabucco in the opera of the same name by Verdi – on the open stage of the Thracian sanctuary of Begliktash.
On November 18, the pianist from Ukraine Igor Kiriyanov, who has recently been an accompanist at the Burgas Opera, will be at the piano. His first stage appearance was during the Second National Competition for Young Opera Singers with International Participation “Stoyan Popov”, which was held from October 17 to 21 this year in the Opera Hall. The flutist Maya Zhelyazkova, who has experience in similar chamber vocal performances, will take part in the concert program.
“It is an honor for me to sing with Marijan Jovanovski in a concert that presents the soloists of the Burgas Opera. This is a baritone that has the timbre of the old great masters – soft, deep, very colorful, big. The program we have selected passes through different styles, languages ​​and eras,” said Nona Krastnikova.
The program of the concert on Saturday will include: Aria of Elvira from the opera “Don Juan” by V. A. Mozart – “Ach chi mi dice mai, Aria of Figaro from the opera “The Barber of Seville” by Gioachino Rossini, Duet of Figaro and Rosina and Rosina’s Aria – from the same opera; Aria from the opera “Tannhäuser” by Richard Wagner – “Dich teure Halle”, Prologue of Tonio from the opera “Pagliacci” by Ruggero Leoncavallo, Duet of Neda and Tonio from the same opera, etc.
The next concert in the “Soloists of the State Opera – Burgas” series is on December 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the lobby of the opera house, with the participation of mezzo-soprano Daniela Dyakova and baritone Alexander Krunev. The piano will be played by Iliana Todorova, who will participate in the second concert of the series – with Delyan Slavov, Diman Panchev and Kostadin Mechkov on bass.
