Coca-Cola’s new global holiday campaign, which we told you about recently, was shot in Bulgaria, the company revealed today. The Christmas video has been broadcast in over 80 countries around the world since the beginning of November.
The TV spot unfolds the magic of Christmas with a story filled with examples of continuity and sharing goodness. The ad also reveals the return of one of the most emblematic elements of Coca-Cola’s holiday campaigns, namely the Christmas truck.
The Christmas Truck first appeared on TV screens in 1995. and has been an association for the coming holidays for more than a quarter of a century. Thus, for several generations, the bright red Coca-Cola truck has become a symbol of Christmas magic.
The company said that they will soon provide more information and whether the Coca-Cola Christmas truck will return to Bulgaria.
One Santa is not enough – Coca-Cola tells us. The idea of the video is to remind people how important it is to be more cordial and open to each other and to make good gestures towards others. The new Christmas campaign aims to inspire people to share goodness every day, with or without an occasion – with every kind word, humble gift, noble deed or unexpected compliment. Thus, Coca-Cola suggests that each of these gestures of kindness can bring out the inner Santa in a person, because One Santa is not enough.
Another magical element, part of the company’s Christmas campaign, is the massive national consumer promotion ‘Share the Spirit of Christmas’, which will give lucky winners festive cheer with a range of prizes, including three trips for two to Santa’s home of Lapland.
The activation challenges everyone to show their knowledge of the beloved white-bearded old man, and specifically if they know where he lives. Anyone can participate in the raffle for the prize in the period 06.11-23.12 in the Coca-Cola application.
