Two young men received suspended sentences for robbery with complicity, the District Court in Varna announced.
The assault took place on November 24 last year.
The two defendants, respectively 23 and 20 years old, managed to take the woman’s mobile phone by force.
To date, the property damage caused by the act has been compensated. The two young men have a clean criminal record to date.
By virtue of an agreement reached between the parties and approved by the Varna District Court, each of the defendants received a sentence of one year of imprisonment. The serving of the imposed punishments is suspended with a probationary period of 3 years. Each of them undertakes to pay equally the expenses incurred in the case.
The judicial act is final.
