Plovdiv community centers participate in the first Day of Reading in Bulgaria – November 17

On November 17, the “Reading” Foundation, the “Children’s Books” Foundation and the “Books and Reading” Association kick off the first Reading Day in Bulgariaorganized with the support of “Stiftung Lesen” (Reading Foundation, Germany).

The initiative will be held across the country under the motto “Reading gives opportunities!” and aims to focus attention on reading as a fundamental process for literacy development, knowledge acquisition and skill acquisition.

The community libraries in Plovdiv participate with great desire and enthusiasm in the first edition of “Reading Day – Bulgaria”, and throughout the day the doors of the community centers will be wide open for visitors – young and old, who want to read or get involved in the organized “Public Readings”, “Story Hour”, “Take a Book and Read”, “Reading over a Cup of Coffee” and others.

Discover and visit the nearest community center to find a favorite or new book and read!
