It will affect all subscribers with the Plus, Premium and Metal plans. The Standart plan remains free. The Plus plan will increase to BGN 7.99 per month from BGN 6.70, Premium will become BGN 15.99 per month, and the Metal plan will increase to BGN 29.99 per month. The new prices are listed on the Revolut website.

In Bulgaria, Revolut recorded a growth of customers of 47% in a year. Currently, the application is used by 670,000 users in our country. Sofia is among the top 10 CEE cities in terms of the number of Revolut retail customers with 270,000 users.

The company says users will be able to keep their monthly fee on their current plan by switching to annual billing before a certain date. The updated plans will offer access to lifestyle app subscriptions, global travel insurance and higher fee-free ATM withdrawal limits. These are subscriptions to publications such as the Financial Times, Deliveroo and Tinder, without paying additional fees for them.

Fees for the subscription plans have not been raised since 2018, when they were first offered.

The European Revolut Bank was founded in the UK in 2015. Initially, it offered money transfers and exchanges. Today, over 35 million retail customers worldwide use Revolut products, including peer-to-peer payments.

In the CEE region, 7 out of 10 physical card transactions made with Revolut in the last 12 months were made in local markets.
