Alexander Sano, Luiza Grigorova, Bashar Rahal and Lyubomira Basheva are visiting with “Otbliz” in Yambol on November 27, reports from the Ver-di Art impresario house. The play by Patrick Marber is directed by Anton Ugrinov. The translation is by Sava Dragunchev. The scenography and costumes are by Elis Veli, and the music by Kalin Nikolov.
“Close up” is a story that follows 12 love episodes in the lives of two women and two men, connected by the invisible threads of passion and attraction. From afar, their longing for love and happiness looks beautiful, quivering and romantic, but up close it can turn out to be too cruel an activity, Ver-di-Art points out.
The play is a merciless dissection of love, garnished with lies, betrayals, jealousy, passion, tears and lots of laughter. “Close Up” poses questions such as: Does a love triangle exist? Is there unconditional love? Do we choose to fall in love or does love choose us? Does “a younger one” appear in the life of every woman over 35?
The play will be performed in the auditorium of Yambol Municipality. The performance is not suitable for viewers under the age of 14, the organizers specify.
