The legendary defender and long-time assistant coach of Stanimir Stoilov Tsanko Tsvetanov was one of the first guests to visit the newly opened “Hall of Fame” of Hristo Stoichkov. Tsvetanov also spoke about last night’s protest in the capital.
Hristo Stoichkov opened the “Hall of Fame”
“It’s worth a visit to see what’s inside. Lots of material and photos that took me back to the good old days. The present does not make us happy, because the current footballers do not have the level that we had back then. I wish them to prepare, improve. Now the world is open.
There is no field in Bulgaria, there is nothing, we are totally behind the normal world. This is the level of our country.
I don’t think that yesterday was the time to protest during a match of the national team. Everyone should have sat in front of the TV yesterday, since he can’t be on the field, and watch the game, and not make such scandals. I assume that I will find out what the outcome is in the near future”, stated Tsvetanov.
