The TV provider Bulsatcom complained that according to reports from its customers, representatives of Vivacom offered them to transfer to the oldest telecom. This happens a week after “United Group” – the company that owns the telecom “Vivacom” and the largest media company in Bulgaria “Nova Broadcasting Group” signed a contract for the acquisition of “Bulsatcom”.
Now the acquired company states in a message to the media and on its website that they find similar practices to be a form of unfair competition in conditions of ongoing proceedings for a possible future acquisition of “Bulsatcom” by “Vivacom”.
“Bulsatcom” is a stable company with long-standing traditions on the Bulgarian market, which continues to function independently and offers the full range of services from its portfolio, they added.
They remind that until the completion of the official proceedings for approval by the regulatory authorities and subsequent judicial control, there will be no deal between the two companies.
