The idea is that the scandalous and compromised eternal deputy mayor Georgi Tityukov will maintain his influence in this sphere in the municipality through his close friend Bukhalov.
Konstantin Georgiev, who also ran in the elections from the United for Plovdiv coalition, left the Cause Bulgaria party this morning. The party was part of the coalition in the last elections, from which Georgi Tityukov and Konstantin Georgiev became municipal councilors.
Georgiev refused to comment to our media for the time being on the reason for his departure, but according to people in the know, it is a scandal between him and Tityukov, because the latter’s behavior has compromised not only Cause Bulgaria, but also the entire United for Plovdiv coalition.
Plovdiv24.bg learned that the small local coalition will get another deputy mayor seat next week in the person of Lilia Nedeva. It is not clear what spring it will be with.
In this way, the deputy mayors of the newly elected mayor will swell to 8. There is still no deputy mayor with the “Transport” department, and it is unlikely that Nedeva will be sent there, as she has no competences on the subject.
