The Mayor of Razgrad Municipality, Dobrin Dobrev, was a guest at the opening of an exhibition of two Romanian artists in the Art Gallery “Prof. Ilia Petrov” – reported the press service of the local administration.

Ioana Lavinia Streinu is among the award-winning authors from the tenth edition of the National Exhibition “Ludogorie” and as a prize winner she received the right to open her own exhibition in the Art Gallery “Prof. Iliya Petrov” – explained the director of the gallery, Todor Todorov. She has chosen to present her project “Areal” in Razgrad, where in tandem with another Romanian artist Eusebio Spinu, they first visit a certain region to feel its atmosphere, and then the two recreate the visited places in paintings.

A total of 46 of their works are arranged in two of the halls of the Razgrad gallery. They can be considered until the first days of January 2024.

In his greeting to the two artists and to the other visitors to the exhibition, Mayor Dobrin Dobrev expressed his satisfaction that there is more and more international participation in the expositions in the Razgrad Art Gallery and that foreign artists appreciate the advantages of the wonderful gallery in our city.

Impressed by the reception and interest in his works, Eusebio Spinu announced that he was donating one of his paintings to the fund of the Razgrad gallery, giving the choice to the gallery director. For his part, he invited the two authors to arrange a second exhibition, but not painting, but ceramics and graphics.
