Historian and journalist Vanya Nikolova published the book “Pages for Pazardzhik and the region”, which contains over 150 short articles related to various objects and sights in the 12 municipalities of Pazardzhik region.
The main emphasis is to give the reader not only interesting information, but also to set him in a positive mood. First, these materials found a place in the electronic site nameridobroto.com, where I started. After a lot of materials accumulated over time, I decided to arrange them thematically in a bookauthor Vanya Nikolova told Radio Plovdiv.
The most space is allocated to the largest municipality, Pazardzhik, and the rest of the municipalities are arranged in alphabetical order. There are also many colorful author’s photos, as well as photos provided by the region’s history museums.
The book summarizes 5 years of work, including journalistic materials, and the technical processing took a whole summer, because Vanya Nikolova made the graphic layout of her work herself.

The book begins with the story of Venus of Pazardzhik. It is a clay figurine that is now in the Natural History Museum in Vienna. She was found in the area of the train station, but it is unclear how she left the country. According to European scientists, she is truly beautiful and rivals the Venus of Willendorfthe author shares.
