The Minister of Agriculture Kiril Vatev opens the exhibition “Danube Fruit Growers” 2023 in Ruse

There is 1 day left until the start of the exhibition “DANUBE FRUITS” 2023 in OZK ARENA – Ruse. The forum will open its doors on November 18th and will bring together the best agricultural production companies and the full range of goods and services for the fruit growing sector in one place.

The event will be officially opened by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Kiril Vatev. At exactly 12:00, he will greet all exhibitors, visitors, speakers and participants in the various seminars, lectures and presentations included in the accompanying program. The organizer of the exhibition is the Union of Danube Fruit Growers, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and DF “Agriculture”.

The sixth edition of the “DANUBE VEGETABLES” exhibition will present the leading companies for plant protection preparations, fertilizers and consumables, agricultural machinery, equipment and facilities. Traditionally, there will also be companies in the field of agricultural consulting and financial services, which will present new opportunities for assistance and support for the development of the sector. With great interest, all participants are looking forward to the B2B panel for direct meetings of farmers with representatives of wholesalers, retail chains, distributors and suppliers, which will allow them to expand their commercial capacity and market presence. This variety of formats is one of the strengths of the “DANUBE FRUITS” exhibition in Rousse, which has established itself as a leading regional event and one of the most effective platforms for trade, new knowledge and innovation in the fruit growing sector.

The organizers from the Union of Danube Fruit Growers have always been a partner of farmers in their quest for sustainability and focus on current trends in nutrition, health and technology. This year again, separate sessions and formats of the accompanying program promise to delve into different aspects of the fruit growing business. The seminar part of the exhibition includes a lecture by Ch. expert Denitsa Gadjeva, coordinator of the National Service for Agricultural Advice in the territorial regional office of Ruse on the topic: “Activities of the NSSZ in support of farmers”. Prof. Dr. Sava Tabakov will present “Substrates and intermediates for apricot varieties”. Both seminars will end with a panel discussion where participants will ask questions and discuss new opportunities and perspectives for farmers.

For the second time, a farmer’s market for regional agricultural products will be held within the framework of the exhibition, which will include producers of fruit, honey, natural juices, dairy products, etc.
