Nikolay Peev was born in Plovdiv. By profession, he is a lawyer at the Bar Association – Plovdiv. He has extensive professional experience in the fields of energy, administration, judicial enforcement, and in his practice he has currently focused on the fields of real estate and finance.
He likes fiction in all its manifestations, and this gives him a creative impulse to write. He finished his debut book “The Day of Invicta” at the age of 25. (2013), but published it only in 2016. “The Day of the Invicta” has been nominated for “Favorite Book of Bulgaria” in the “Fiction” category for 2016. In 2017, Invicta Day was translated and distributed worldwide. His second novel, The Interview (2018), is a much darker and contemporary thriller, which in 2023 topped the Creator charts several times for the most listened to audiobook in this genre. His third book “Seven Writers in Space” is a fantastic thriller, with elements of horror, which wins the Bulgarian nomination “Eurocon” 2022, together with the author, representing our country at the event.
This year (2023) he was a guest, together with world-famous names such as Peter Watts, Francesco Verso, Alex Schwartzman, at the biggest fantasy event in the country – “Bulgacon 2023”, which took place in Plovdiv.
