The district council of the DPS in Pirinsko unanimously nominated Delyan Peevski as the chairman of the party. This happened at today’s meeting of the Regional Council of DPS in Blagoevgrad region. At it, the members were informed about the decisions of the Central Council of DPS from November 17, 2023. The district council of DPS-Blagoevgrad decided to nominate Delyan Peevski as chairman of DPS at the upcoming National Conference of the party, which will be held on February 24, 2024.
The arguments of the members of the collective body of the party in Pirinsko are the adequate behavior of Delyan Peevski on national and regional issues, as well as his merit for the mobilization of all structures of the party on the eve of the local elections, which made DPS the second political force at the national level. The undoubted success was in the Blagoevgrad region, where the party is the champion in terms of trust received among voters.
“The main credit for this success goes to Mr. Delyan Peevski, who since 2017 has been a candidate for deputy from our district. This gave a great impulse to all our voters. Over the years, Delyan Peevski has provided great support to the region and, quite naturally, the people have repaid for all this of the DPS. Last but not least – the clear messages of Mr. Peevski reach the hearts of the people,” claims the mayor of the municipality of Belica – Radoslav Revanski, a record holder in terms of electoral support, who won a third mayoral term.
