On the border with Romania, traffic is intense at the “Vidin”, “Kardam” and “Nikopol” checkpoints for trucks leaving the country, the Main Directorate of Border Police – Ministry of Internal Affairs announced on its website. The information of the border authorities is at 6:00.
Since yesterday, the passage of trucks through the “Kardam” checkpoint has been restored. They will be redirected to Varna via Balchik.
Due to the strong wind, the ferry platform serving “Oryahovo” – “Becket” is temporarily suspended. The platform is located on Bulgarian territory.
On the border with Turkey, traffic is intense at the “Capitan Andreevo” checkpoint for goods vehicles on the way out.
Along the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints. Construction and assembly activities at the “Kalotina” border crossing point require a temporary narrowing of the road lanes and a reorganization of the movement of passing vehicles. During the holidays, those traveling with cars should keep in mind that the temporary organization of traffic before and in the area of the border crossing point may extend transit time.
On the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints. “Border Police” recommends that citizens traveling to and from Greece during the holidays use, in addition to the “Kulata” and “Makaza” border crossing points, the other checkpoints on the Bulgarian-Greek border – “Ilinden”, “Zlatograd”, “Ivaylovgrad” and “Captain Petko Voivoda”. Only cars and minibuses can pass through the border points “Makaza”, “Zlatograd” and “Ivaylovgrad”, reports BTA.
On the border with the Republic of North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints. At the “Stanke Lisichkovo” border crossing, construction and assembly works are being carried out, in connection with which crossing the border crossing is possible subject to compliance with the measures for temporary organization of traffic.
