At their first regular meeting, the municipal councilors in Montana must vote on the leadership and composition of the 10 standing committees. Allocation is already done. Chairmen of 7 of the 10 standing committees are people from the local coalition SDS/GERB, BND, VMRO-BND, ZNS, i.e. the coalition of the mayor Zlatko Zhivkov. She has 19 mandates in the council.

“Territorial planning, construction and environmental protection” is chaired by Nayden Naydenov from GERB, Stanimir Stoev, also from GERB, is entrusted with the committee on budget and finance. The chairman of the health committee is Dr. Ludmil Dzurdjov, also from GERB. Person of GERB the committee on municipal property will also be headed by Viktor Apostolov. The SDS is entrusted with education and science. Kamelia Angelova has been proposed as its chairman. Rumen Tsenov/SDS/ is the head of the commission on European integration, projects and agriculture, and Dr. Yulian Alexandrov /SDS/ will head the anti-corruption commission.

Nikolay Dimitrov from the local coalition NDSV/DPS, Novoto vreme, Bulgarian voice has been proposed for the chairmanship of the commission for local self-government. Stefka Alexandrova from BSP is entrusted with the committee for children, youth, sports and tourism, and Elena Viktorova from “Vazrazhdane” heads the committee for traffic safety.

Councilors must also elect a deputy. chairmen. The proposal of the chairman, Eng. Ivo Ivanov, is that there should be three of them – Dr. Ivanka Deleva /MK NDSV/DPS, Novoto vreme, Bulgarian Voice/, Valeri Georgiev /BND/ and Dr. Hristo Kastrev /GERB/.
