The Mayor of the Municipality of Pleven Dr. Valentin Hristov presented today part of his team – two of his deputies and the new Secretary of the Municipality. Margarita Bahneva is the new deputy mayor with the “Finance and Economy” department, Eng. Vladislav Ivanov is the new deputy mayor with the “Territorial Development” department, Sonia Ganeva is the new secretary of the Municipality of Pleven.
Mrs. Margarita Bakhneva
is a familiar face and a proven professional in his work. He has a master’s degree in economics from the Dimitar Tsenov Academy of Economics, Svishtov. From March 1998 to December 2005, he was the head of the Taxpayer Registration and Service Department at the National Revenue Agency in Pleven. From 2006 until today, Margarita Bakhneva served as director of the Directorate “Revenues from local taxes and fees”. Works well in a team, correct and responsible.
Eng. Vladislav Ivanov
is also a familiar face who has proven himself in his work over the years. Eng. Ivanov graduated from the Higher School of Construction in Sofia, with a master’s degree in civil engineering. His current position until today was director of the “Construction, Technical Infrastructure and Ecology” Directorate in the Municipality of Pleven, and he has been in this position for 12 years. As such, he knows well the problems and work in the Municipality.
He participated in the development of concepts and municipal investment programs in the field of construction, technical infrastructure and ecology. He has experience in managing all objects from the investment program of the Municipality of Pleven – construction of new buildings and facilities, current and basic repairs of schools, kindergartens, municipal buildings. His experience also includes work on basic and current repairs of the street network and the municipal road network, as well as all municipal environmental activities – cleaning, garbage collection, landscaping activities.
“I believe that with Eng. Ivanov taking over this important department, the Municipality of Pleven will be able to continue its work without unnecessary upheavals,” said the mayor, Dr. Hristov.
Sonya Ganeva
is one of the experienced personnel in local self-government. She completed her secondary education at “Anastasia Dimitrova” Secondary School, Pleven. Higher education – a graduate of VTU “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, majoring in Bulgarian philology. Since 2009, he has been part of the team of the Municipality of Pleven – a specialist, later an expert. From April 2021 until today, he is the head of the “Local Self-Government” department. A young, responsible person who – I am convinced – can be relied on in the work.
