Employees are demanding better working conditions
Workers and employees from the Executive Agency “Fighting Hail” again reminded that they are preparing for a protest because of low wages. The employees of the regional directorate in Popovitsa said that they insist on normal pay from the new year and with the new budget. They specify that their requests are for compensation in the amount of BGN 1,100. They currently work for the sum of BGN 760 per month.

The employees are demanding better working conditions and an increase, as the amount currently covers their needs to go to work.
The workers specified that a month and a half ago they were promised a one-time aid in the amount of BGN 1,200, which has not yet reached them. They were promised a 20% increase in wages, which should have been included in the budget.
“If we are not heard, there will be no season in spring, we will not start work for minimum wage”, say the employees of the regional directorate for fighting hail in Popovitsa.
