In the third quarter of 2023, the local administrations in the Targovishte region issued permits for the construction of 16 residential buildings with 86 dwellings in them and 6,329 square meters of built-up area (GFA), and 11 other buildings with 1,538 square meters RZP.
Compared to the previous quarter, the issued permits for the construction of residential buildings were 45.5% more, the number of dwellings in them increased by 11.7%, and their total built-up area – by 1.0%. Building permits issued to other buildings decreased by 8.3%, and their total built-up area – by 45.1%.
Compared to the third quarter of 2022, the issued permits for the construction of new residential buildings increased by 6.7%, the number of dwellings in them – by 95.5%, and their expanded built-up area – by 16.4%. In the case of other types of buildings, the number of issued building permits increased by 57.1%, and their total occupancy – by 14.9%.
Targovishte district ranks 23rd in the country in terms of permits issued for the construction of new residential buildings. First is the Sofia region (the capital) with 351 issued, followed by the Plovdiv region – with 344.
In the third quarter of 2023, the construction of 8 residential buildings with 29 dwellings in them and with 2,608 square meters of total built-up area, and 6 other buildings with
1,108 sq. m of built-up area.
Compared to the previous quarter, the new residential buildings started increased by 60.0%, the dwellings in them – by 81.3%, and their occupancy rate – by 85.8%. The number of started other types of buildings increased by 50.0%, but their total built-up area was 48.9% less.
Compared to the third quarter of 2022, the starts of new residential buildings decreased by 11.1%, the dwellings in them – by 23.7%, as well as their total built-up area – by 46.1%. Other building starts are 100.0% more, and their GPA is 111.0%.
The Targovishte region is in 26th place in the country in terms of construction of new buildings. First is the region of Sofia (capital) – 279 residential, 8 administrative and 31 other buildings, followed by Plovdiv – 239 residential, 5 administrative and 80 other buildings.
