Students collected BGN 303 for the Day Center for Children with Disabilities in Gorna Oryahovitsa

The ambassadors of the European Parliament to the “Vicho Grncharov” Secondary School in Oryahovitsa delighted the children from the Day Center for Children with Disabilities in the city with gifts and treats. The funds, in the amount of BGN 303, with which they bought all the things, were collected at a charity bazaar organized at the school on the occasion of the European Day of Healthy Eating and Cooking – November 8.
The children from the Center welcomed the ambassadors with smiles and showed their sincere joy and excitement at the gifts they received”, said the “Vicho Grncharov” Secondary School. “Donation is a charitable act or a contribution to a given cause, but not only that – it is a worldview, a way of life and it does not only happen at Christmas. Giving is a wonderful feeling that warms and fills the giver’s soul”, the school in G. Oryahovitsa believes, and its junior ambassadors believe that good examples are all around us. They are one of them.
